Esther 1:13-2:4

I Samuel 3

In I Samuel 3, the young boy Samuel encounters the living God during a time of spiritual famine, when the Word of the LORD had become rare. In His Grace, God calls Samuel, who responds, "Speak, for your servant hears." God then entrusts his Word to Samuel and establishes him as His prophet to lead his people. Ultimately, Samuel points us to Jesus Christ--the perfect Prophet, Priest, and King--through whom God has spoken fully and finally, and through whom we draw near to God by faith.

Genesis 13

Fear often arrives after the battle is over. In Genesis 15, Abram has just experienced a great victory, yet God comes to him with a simple command: “Fear not.” This sermon explores how God meets fearful believers with His promises, counts faith as righteousness, and points us to Christ through His covenant with Abram. Faith is not the absence of questions—it is confidence in the One who answers.

2 Kings 6

What do you do when the enemy seems to have you surrounded? In 2 Kings 6, Elisha’s servant sees only danger until the Lord opens his eyes to see His divine protection. This sermon reminds us that God sees and saves his people—and points us to Jesus, who disarms our greatest enemies.
