Carolina completed a dominant postseason with a 3-0 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 6, finishing the playoffs with an impressive 16-3 record. Brandon Bussi recorded a 22-save shutout, while Jackson Blake, Taylor Hall, and Nikolaj Ehlers provided the offense. Captain Jordan Staal was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP after a memorable postseason performance, adding another championship to his decorated career. Behind the bench, Rod Brind'Amour continued his Hurricanes legacy, becoming one of the few people in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup with the same franchise as both a player and a coach.
