Cherice shared her experience working in public schools and now in private practice, where she conducts evaluations for learning disabilities, ADHD, anxiety, and autism, as well as parent-child interaction therapy. She noted that homeschool environments often provide more flexibility and less stress for children with neurodiversities or ADHD compared to traditional public school settings. About Cherice Greco: Cherice N. Greco, Psy.S., is a licensed school psychologist and the founder of Child and Adolescent Psychology of Tampa Bay, LLC. With experience in both public schools and private practice, she has worked with children and young adults from pre-kindergarten through college, helping families navigate academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental challenges. Drawing on her extensive public school experience, Cherice brings a practical understanding of 504 Plans, Exceptional Student Education (ESE) services, and the special education eligibility process, empowering parents to advocate effectively for their children. Cherice earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida and her master's and specialist degrees in School Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She is a Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Certified Therapist, a Certified PEERS® for Adolescents Provider, an approved vendor for the Florida Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, an approved Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) provider for Hillsborough County Public Schools, and a direct-pay provider for Step Up for Students. A Tampa native, Cherice is passionate about helping children thrive and supporting parents through every stage of their family's journey. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, swimming, boating, exploring new places, and playing with their two dogs.
