Day 158. Job 21-23

Job reflects on the brevity and difficulty of human life. He wrestles with questions about death, hope, and restoration. As his friends continue to accuse him, Job describes them as miserable comforters. He feels abandoned yet continues to direct his words toward God.

Day 154. Job 8-10

Bildad argues that God is just and suggests that suffering must be connected to wrongdoing. Job answers by acknowledging God’s greatness but struggles to understand his circumstances. He questions why he was born and why he is being treated this way. The tension between God’s justice and Job’s suffering grows.
