A new study on erythritol and heart attacks has been in the news and found its way to social media—let’s talk about it. This study correlates erythritol in your blood to higher incidents of heart attacks and strokes. However, I see some serious problems with this study. Here are four key points about this study: 1. Correlation does not mean causation. 2. This study was based on endogenous erythritol and did not measure dietary erythritol. The body makes endogenous erythritol. 3. The body produces erythritol when you metabolize sugar, have oxidative stress or belly fat, or consume alcohol. The great majority of people in this study were in poor health, so how do we know erythritol was the problem? 4. Other research has liked erythritol to many different health benefits. Could it be that erythritol is increasing in the body to counter the bad effects of sugar? It seems to me that erythritol is something that’s trying to help you and not hurt you. Preoperative vitamin D supplementation can be life-saving! Find out about the amazing benefits of vitamin D for surgery and why you don’t want to go into surgery if you might have a vitamin D deficiency. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] Check out Dr. Berg Vitamin B12: 🛒https://drbrg.co/3DQQo7C0:00 Introduction: Vitamin D and surgery 0:42 Vitamin D benefits 1:35 Vitamin D and surgical outcomes 1:57 Vitamin B12 2:36 Vitamin D and postoperative infections 3:25 Vitamin D benefits after surgery DATA: https://hlahore.substack.com/p/vitami... Surgeries come with risks, which include death. Surgery can significantly lower your vitamin D, so if you have surgery and you’re deficient, you could be putting yourself at risk. If you’re low in vitamin D, your blood pressure can go up. Vitamin D is one of the best remedies for high blood pressure because it increases nitric oxide, which helps vasodilation in the arteries. Vitamin D supports your immune system, helps prevent infection, and reduces inflammation. It also helps reduce cardiovascular complications after surgery. Some people take 100,000 to 300,000 IU of vitamin D before surgery! If you don’t have enough vitamin D, your muscles can weaken, which increases your risk of falling after surgery. Post-operative inflammatory indicators increase by 200% if you’re low in vitamin D. Vitamin D can increase antimicrobial peptides by 4000%! This compound helps your immune system kill microbes and dramatically reduces the risk of postoperative infection. Sufficient vitamin D cuts the risk of surgical complications in half. One study found that half of atrial fibrillation was reduced with enough vitamin D. Vitamin D is especially important for open-heart surgery, thyroid removal, and cancer removal. Surgery puts significant stress on your adrenal glands. If you’re low in vitamin D, cortisol can spike 4x after surgery, slowing healing and increasing inflammation. If you’re low in vitamin D, you’re 8 times more likely to have cognitive dysfunction after surgery. Vitamin D can reduce the risk of rejection during an organ transplant and is associated with fewer complications with ventilators after surgery. If you take vitamin D before surgery, you can expect shorter hospital stays and faster healing rates. If you only take high doses of vitamin D for 3 days before surgery, you don’t need to worry about any toxic effects. #health #keto #ketodiet #weightloss #ketolifestyle #intermittentfasting #lowcarb Thanks for watching! You're Being Misled About Ozempic.

PBM transparency problems are a huge issue that most people are unaware of. Pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) are like a toll bridge between you and the price you pay for medication. Find out how PBMs affect drug costs and influence the drugs covered by your insurance, all for their own financial gain. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Introduction: Do PBMs raise drug costs? 0:45 Hidden PBM fees explained 1:39 Spread pricing explained 3:49 How PBMs affect insurance premiums 4:30 Raising awareness about hidden PBM fees Why do drugs like Ozempic cost $1500 in the U.S., but only $147 in Canada? Most people don’t know about the invisible middleman making more than 10 of the top drug companies combined. Healthcare may seem like a broken system, but it’s actually not broken at all. It works great; it’s just not working for you. Pharmacy benefit managers use their contracts to make massive profits off of everyone. PBMs may appear to be helpful. They negotiate lower prices for manufacturing companies, reduce out-of-pocket expenses, and handle logistics between employers and insurance companies. Pharmacy benefit managers charge the employer a very high price and pay the pharmacies a very low price, pocketing the difference. This is known as spread pricing. PBMs decide which drugs your plan covers, how much you’ll pay out of pocket, which pharmacy you can use, and when or if you’ll get your medication. Cheaper and better drugs are often denied if PBMs don’t get a big enough rebate. They can even force you to fill your prescriptions at specific PBM pharmacies for more profit. Drug companies have to give PBMs a kickback or “rebate” to get their drugs covered by insurance companies. To afford this rebate, drug companies raise the list price, and PBMs promote the drug that gives them the most profit. Pharmacy benefit managers own insurance companies and pharmacies. Three of the largest PBMs control 80% of the medications in the U.S. Surprisingly, PBMs don’t exist in other countries. Viral Health Tips You Need to CEASE Now

How can you distinguish between actual health hacks and fake health trends? In this video, I’m going to tell you about ten health hacks that don’t work and often cause more harm than good. Avoid these health hacks to save your health and your wallet! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Introduction: Health hacks debunked 0:17 Ear candling 1:10 Gallbladder flush 2:36 The master cleanse 3:27 Foot detox pads 4:16 Foot detox bath 5:26 Ab belts 6:20 The blood type diet 7:18 EMF blockers 7:56 Carb blockers 9:12 Psychiatric medication 1. Ear candling This treatment has been debunked by a doctor of audiology! There is absolutely no difference in ear wax before and after ear candling. 2. Gallbladder flush This almost killed me! A gallbladder flush involves drinking 12 ounces of olive oil followed by beet tablets to eliminate gallstones. This really eliminates bile, causing you to become deficient. TUDCA is a much better remedy to help prevent and eliminate gallstones and bile sludge. 3. The master cleanse This cleanse combines lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup, which won’t cleanse your body but will mess with your blood sugar. 4. Foot detox pads You can not pull toxins and heavy metals out of your feet as there are no detox pathways through the skin. 5. Foot detox bath Similar to foot detox pads, a chemical reaction changes the water's color during a foot detox bath, leading you to believe it’s pulling toxins out of your body. 6. Ab belts Stimulating the stomach muscles or sweating will not remove fat from your midsection. Visceral fat must be removed through diet and exercise. 7. The blood type diet This diet is not supported by credible research. Blood types relate more to an immune difference rather than a digestive difference. 8. EMF blockers A sticker on your cell phone can not block the EMF radiation it omits. 9. Carb blockers Carb blockers contain an extract that can inhibit the digestion of a minimal amount of starch, not sugar. You would need to take several bottles to inhibit the digestion of the starch from one donut. 10. Psychiatric medication The effectiveness of psychiatric medication can be comparable to placebo outcomes. They may also come with serious side effects and can be highly addictive. Thanks for watching! I hope this increases your awareness about health hacks to avoid. I’ll see you in the next video. --- Learn more about your ad choices. Today we're going to talk about the absolute worst food for the heart: trans fats. While sugar is bad for the heart, trans fats are even worse. In 2015, the FDA no longer classified trans fats as safe. Consuming trans fats increases the risk of several serious health issues, including: • Heart attack • Stroke • Type 2 diabetes • Cancer • Increased LDL • Decreased HDL • Inflammation • Autoimmune diseases • Infertility • Tendon and bone degeneration Partially hydrogenated oils contain trans fats, but products that contain either partially hydrogenated or hydrogenated fats should be avoided to help protect against heart disease and other health problems. It turns out that animal feed still contains trans fats. This means that you could consume trans fats indirectly by consuming animals fed trans fats. Restaurants also commonly serve foods containing trans fats. There's even a loophole that allows half of a gram of trans fats in one serving size to claim that a product has zero trans fats. Overall, it's crucial to read food labels and be aware of what you're eating, especially at restaurants.
