“He was just running.” Last week Vee and I discussed Hulu’s “Candy” starring Jessica Biel and this week I discuss HBO’s “Love & Death” starring Elizabeth Olsen with Hammer. The same true crime story told by two different streaming platforms. Both done extremely well and done within a year of each other. This one also stars Jesse Plemons as Allan Gore, Lily Rabe as Betty Gore, Patrick Fugit as Pat Montgomery and Elizabeth Olsen as Candy Montgomery. It’s a very shocking, fascinating and sad true crime case that people are talking about to this day. We discuss the case and the hulu series about that case. Starring Melanie Lynskey as Betty Gore, Pablo Schreiber as Allan Gore, Timothy Simons as Pat Montgomery, and Jessica Biel as Candy Montgomery… with appearances  by the real life husbands of our leading ladies Justin Timberlake and Jason Ritter.
