Cozy with Chelsea
Happy Earth Day!! In this week's episode, I'm sharing everything I love about Earth Day (one of my favorite holidays) — from its history and how it all began in 1970, to practical, cozy, and totally doable ways you can celebrate. I also read one of my favorite poet's (Mary Oliver) poem, "When I Am Among the Trees," which I think is the perfect Earth Day reminder to slow down, get outside, and reconnect with nature. I also share my own Earth Day celebration this year — I planted my very first garden! In the desert! No excuses dear friends. We talk about why earth care truly is self-care, how spending time in nature regulates your nervous system, and why I believe every single day should be Earth Day. Plus, I share the story of how picking up trash once earned me free ice cream every day after school. In this episode: * A brief history of Earth Day and how it started in 1970 * Mary Oliver's "When I Am Among the Trees" * 5 cozy, doable ways to celebrate Earth Day * Why nature is medicine for your mind and body * My first desert garden and an upcoming phone-free trip Connect with Chelsea: TikTok: @cozywithchelsea [https://www.tiktok.com/@cozywithchelsea] Instagram: @cozywchelsea [https://www.instagram.com/cozywchelsea/] Youtube: @cozywithchelsea [https://www.youtube.com/@cozywithchelsea] Substack: @cozywithchelsea [https://substack.com/@cozywithchelsea] Free Cozy Guide to Aligned Living [https://cozywithchelsea.myflodesk.com/alignedguide] Work 1:1 with me [https://cozywithchelsea.as.me/]
