Revelation Chapters 1-3

In this episode, we begin the Book of Revelation by reading chapters 1 through 3, where John the Apostle receives a vision from Jesus Christ while exiled on the island of Patmos. Chapter 1 introduces the revelation of Jesus in His glory and power, emphasizing His authority over all things. Chapters 2 and 3 contain letters to seven churches in Asia Minor, where Christ commends faithfulness, rebukes areas of compromise and sin, and calls believers to repentance and perseverance. Each message includes encouragement for those who overcome and remain faithful despite challenges, persecution, and spiritual complacency. Revelation 1–3 reminds us that Jesus knows the condition of His church, calls His people to faithfulness and repentance, and promises eternal rewards to those who remain steadfast in their faith.

Book Of Jude

In this episode, we read the book of Epistle of Jude, a short but powerful letter written by Jude that urges believers to contend for the faith and remain vigilant against false teachings. Jude warns that certain individuals have entered the church and are distorting God’s grace for their own purposes. Drawing on examples from Scripture and history, he reminds readers of God’s judgment against rebellion and unbelief while encouraging them to remain faithful. The letter calls believers to build themselves up in their faith, pray in the Holy Spirit, remain in God’s love, and show mercy to others while standing firmly for the truth. Jude reminds us that faith must be protected and nurtured, and that believers are called to live with discernment, perseverance, and confidence in God’s ability to keep them secure.

3 John

In this episode, we read the book of Third Epistle of John, a short personal letter from John the Apostle that highlights faithfulness, hospitality, and living according to the truth. John commends Gaius for his faithfulness and generosity in supporting fellow believers and traveling teachers. He encourages him to continue serving others and walking in truth. The letter also contrasts Gaius’s example with that of Diotrephes, who acted pridefully and sought authority for himself rather than serving others. John praises Demetrius as a positive example of a faithful believer. 3 John reminds us that living in the truth involves more than belief—it is demonstrated through humility, hospitality, service, and support for God’s work.

2 John

In this episode, we read the book of Second Epistle of John, a brief letter from John the Apostle that emphasizes the importance of truth, love, and remaining faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ. John encourages believers to continue walking in obedience to God's commands and to love one another. He stresses that genuine Christian love is demonstrated through faithful obedience to the truth. The letter also warns against false teachers who deny the truth about Christ and encourages believers to be discerning about whom they support and welcome as teachers. 2 John reminds us that truth and love must work together, and that remaining faithful to Christ's teachings is essential for a strong and healthy faith.

1 John Chapters 1-5

In this episode, we read First Epistle of John chapters 1 through 5, where John the Apostle emphasizes the importance of walking in truth, love, and obedience to God. Chapter 1 teaches that God is light and calls believers to walk honestly before Him, confessing sin and living in fellowship with God and one another. Chapters 2 and 3 focus on obeying God’s commands, avoiding worldly influences, and loving others as evidence of genuine faith. Chapter 4 encourages believers to test spiritual teachings carefully and reminds them that God’s perfect love drives out fear. Chapter 5 emphasizes faith in Jesus Christ and the assurance of eternal life through Him. 1 John 1–5 reminds us that true faith is demonstrated through obedience, love, truth, and confidence in the salvation found in Christ.
