In short, theologian and author Stephen Sizer argues that Jews are not God's chosen people, and Israel is not God's chosen land. He contends that the scriptures have been manipulated since the 1800s to support dispensationalism—a false doctrine—largely through the Scofield Reference Bible. This wasn't a new translation, but rather a standard Bible reissued with loaded footnotes on every page, and was mass-produced with the help of Oxford University Press in the early 1900s. I'm not saying I'm a fan of the KKK but I now have a better understanding of its historical context. Besides, his involvement was decades ago and it shouldn't define him today. On being an American patriot

Tom Luongo hosts the Gold, Goats 'n Guns [https://tomluongo.me/about/] podcast and newsletter, which used to be quite critical of the US but has evolved into a patriotic outlet—leading to Tom becoming less popular and receiving fewer invitations to other podcasts. Which I think is unfortunate.
