Self Love

What is self-love to you? Each person defines it differently. Because learning to love yourself is a personal journey.  Self-love is not narcissism or defined outside of you by others’ approvals and judgements. Did you grow up believing that you have to be perfect in order to be loved or that if you loved yourself you were selfish? To love yourself is to believe and trust in yourself without constant critical judgement. Learn to appreciate every moment you have with yourself and know that whatever happened that day, you did your best and let it go.  Every time you feel you’re being entangled negatively by something that just happened, let it go and send love to yourself. You have the power to do that.

An Exercise in Stillness and Focusing

This paint-by-number activity may seem like child’s play, but it’s more than that.  we live in a realm of streamng data – phones, tvs, videos that demand and captures our attention.  Hence, it’s vital we not lose our ability to focus solely w/o distraction. One way is to follow the flow of something that is already created. The paint by number image is a way to do that.    it teaches you stillness, image focusing and to be at one with yourself. Which in turn teaches you to follow your inner guidance, your powerful intuitive, known as your gut instinct that’s connected to the nonphysical world.  So get yourself a paint-by-number kit and start paint and start focusing.

The Swings of Life Choices

Are the down swings of life getting in the way of your happiness and self-appreciation?  My guides say that if life went smoothly all the time, you would be denying yourself opportunities for your higher self - your spirit self - to grow and to expand your Light.  Pain creates change and change creates a chance to make different choices in finding out who you truly are and truly can be.  There are no accidents in the universe, just choices. Choose expanding your Light and as always, whatever you do, choose joy.

January is the bridge between the dark winter and the returning light - a time to STEP from the old year into the new. Here’s an apt metaphor: Life is about walking though the darkness and finding the Light. As you do this, steer clear of over analyzing and over judging your past. Your past is just that. Constantly recalling your past – I call this backwards looping - is a roadblock to connecting to your INTUITIVE Higher Self, Your Core Light’s WISDOM, and heading toward a future of TRUST + FULFILLMENT.
