This week on LIVING IT LOUD: Rich Karlis was a placekicker for nine seasons for the Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, and Detroit Lions in the NFL from 1982 to 1990. He played college football for the Cincinnati Bearcats and is known as the last of the field goal kickers who kicked barefoot full-time in the NFL. episode Annemarie and Jeff Smith artwork

Annemarie and Jeff Smith

This week on LIVING IT LOUD: Annemarie Smith is a visionary leader with 25+ years of experience strategizing with multimillion dollar companies to further their success. As a business owner and longtime mentor, Annemarie brings business acumen and a deep heart for service into her role as Love INC’s Executive Director.   Annemarie is looking forward to this new role with Love INC because of the chance to increase community impact and strengthen partnerships. Thanks to her previous volunteer work and time on the Board of Directors, Annemarie is wholeheartedly behind Love INC’s mission. And she is passionate about using her strengths of strategic vision, leadership, and guiding organizations into further financial stability to help Love INC  and its legacy thrive. Jeff: Jeff and Annemarie Smith have been happily married for 10 years and have been blessed with three children.  When they met, Jeff was self-employed as a real estate professional for nearly 25 years. They both decided to build a property management company, complementing Jeff’s real estate growth in the Denver metro area. This company grew exponentially in a short time and was acquired by a competitor. Jeff’s dream has always been to own a franchise such as Christian Brothers Automotive Ken Caryl and this became a reality in 2022 for two reasons: God’s perfect plan as we prayed and fasted for this opportunity and Annemarie’s strategic vision and talents. The Christian Brothers Automotive opportunity was extra special as it incorporated their strengths as a couple who love serving the community and also the core message of God’s salvation for each one of us. Four years into ownership and the business thrives in the Ken Caryl Community while coming along side the local churches and nonprofits to support with automotive care. episode Warren and Arlene Johnson artwork

Warren and Arlene Johnson

This week on LIVING IT LOUD: Warren and Arlene Johnson   Northern Minnesota natives Warren and Arlene Johnson have been together since they were 17. In the decades between way-back-when and today, they've built an extraordinary life together, raising son Kurt – a 42-time national event winner – and earning six NHRA and two IHRA championships. W.J. was a pioneer in the ultra-competitive class of factory hot rods known as Pro Stock, and with 97 national event wins and an abundance of performance milestones, he is well-established as one of the category's best of all-time. The work on track was what the world saw, but what Warren and Arlene built together took place mainly behind the scenes, with W.J. toiling away in their engine shop in Sugar Loaf, Ga., always knee-deep in research and development, and Arlene running the front office and taking care of details that ensured the ship ran smoothly. Their legacy already holds a place in history, but the two can still can be found every day of the week at Warren Johnson Enterprises, W.J content with the sound of the engine dyno roaring and Arlene at the ready as the phones continue to ring. episode Jeffrey Alumbaugh artwork

Jeffrey Alumbaugh

This week on LIVING IT LOUD: Jeffrey Alumbaugh grew up in Aurora, Colorado, where some of his earliest memories are sitting on the living room floor with a box of crayons, drawing for hours and letting his imagination run. That early passion eventually turned into a hands-on career as an artist, painting everything from billboards on the Las Vegas Strip alongside some of the nation’s top billboard artists to massive stage backdrops for touring classic rock bands and legendary venues. Along the way, he also developed a lifelong love of hot rods—another creative outlet where design, fabrication, and mechanical engineering come together, shaping how he approaches building projects today. Today, Jeffrey lives in Broomfield, where he founded the Keep Crayin’ On Experience, a community initiative dedicated to reconnecting kids and families with creativity, imagination, and hands-on exploration. Through community events, storytelling, and simple tools like a box of crayons, the project encourages young minds to experiment, build, and see how ideas can become something real. What started as one artist’s desire to give back to the kind of creative childhood he experienced has grown into a mission focused on restoring the colorful experiences of childhood for the next generations.  You can learn more about Jeff and his project at www.KeepCrayinOn.com Tune in live each week at 8am MST on Wednesdays (re-air at 6pm MST on Fridays) on AM 1220 KLDC for new interviews with amazing guests from across the country as they share their unique stories because…….EVERYONE has a story! #livingitloud #livingitloudradioshow #livingitloudwithtamibandimere #radioshow #radioshowhost #bandimerespeedway #bandimerefamily #coloradoradio #colorado #denvercolorado #tamibandimere #bandimere
