Descripción

Host, Dr. Angela Walter Hagen, describes her journey with journaling. How she began her first journal on an overseas missions trip at 15 years old, and never stopped. Whether you’re a writer or not, there is a secret weapon within journaling that you can embrace. It’s within the cataloging of God’s faithfulness that helps you remember the gory details of your prayers and His answers. These love letters to and from God are the foundation to her More Than Journaling Instagram posts that go up weekly. The posts recount excerpts from the dozens of journals scribed over decades. Writing to God, and hearing from God, creates a place to unlock treasures from heaven and about yourself you may never discover without creating that space to listen, write and remember. More Than Missions │ Dr. Angela Walter Hagen

Host, Dr. Angela Walter Hagen, has her big sis on the podcast! These sisters laugh hard but discuss the deep matters of what missions look like in this modern world. The U.S.A. is the third largest mission field in the world being sent into to share the good news of Jesus. How does that affect us daily? How do you discern being called to missions overseas? And if you aren’t, do you still have a place in missions? This message is rooted in Matthew 28, that describes how we are ALL called to the Great Commission. What does that mean for your next-door neighbor? Your career? Your local church? As a parent?  Christin Hoca was called to missions at a young age, but that call developed very differently over the years. She is a wealth of knowledge in discerning the voice of God, is a loving wife and a homeschooling mother of 4. Christin got her BA in Psychology and Political Science from Albright College, her Masters in Education from Lancaster Bible University and has her license in K-12 School Counseling. She has found her greatest mission field within the walls of her own home. Listen now to discover how you too are called to missions because it is so much MORE THAN you imagine.    Don’t miss out on More Than Mondays by subscribing: @More.Than.Podcast
