Our Daily Show Interview! A Busy Summer for A Precious Organization and Reaction to HB 4934 Passing

Tammy, Precious, and Michelle from A Precious Organization join us ahead of a busy summer season. We’ll discuss Illinois House Bill 4934, legislation that would create a Sickle Cell Disease Awareness decal in Illinois while also helping generate funding for sickle cell programs through the newly created Sickle Cell Anemia License Fund. The funds would support grants through the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Illinois, helping expand awareness, advocacy, and resources for those impacted by the disease. We’ll also preview the organization’s 10th Annual Bowling Fundraiser and 14th Annual Sickle Cell Awareness Walk.
