Tammy gets a new nurse, Tisa, who quickly discovers that motivating Tammy to move even slightly is like trying to push a boulder uphill while the boulder insults you. Amy spends the entire episode desperately trying to get literally anyone to hold Tammy accountable, while Tammy treats every suggestion like a personal attack from the FBI. In between arguments, the family somehow ends up at high tea despite clearly being a “sweet tea in a plastic cup” kind of group. Amy declares the tea tastes like “old man balls,” Tammy gets mad over dessert placement, and a flying bug nearly takes somebody out mid-conversation. Absolute elegance. Things really spiral once Tammy’s new boyfriend becomes the topic of discussion and the family starts connecting dots they definitely do not like. By the end, everyone’s frustrated, nobody feels heard, and Chris looks about three seconds away from flipping a table. An absolute trainwreck, but the kind where you can’t stop staring.
