Come Holy Spirit - The Fire Fell At 9 AM

On Pentecost Sunday, Pastor Chad preached that God is intentionally guiding history through “days, hours, and seasons,” and that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at 9 a.m. on the Day of Pentecost was not random, but part of God’s redemptive plan between Christ’s first coming and His return. Drawing from Acts 2,he challenged believers to live as Spirit-filled people who order their lives around God’s presence through consistent prayer, faithfulness, and attentiveness to the Holy Spirit rather than the distractions of culture. He emphasized that we are living in the “last days,” a time marked by both urgency and opportunity: urgency to repent, persevere, and proclaim the gospel, and opportunity to experience the power and peace of the Holy Spirit while awaiting Christ’s return.

Come Holy Spirit - Can These Bones Live?

This Next Gen Sunday sermon used Ezekiel 37’s Valley of Dry Bones to teach that no person or generation is too far gone for God to restore. The speakers connected modern struggles like anxiety, brokenness, and searching for fulfillment apart from God with Israel’s spiritual condition, emphasizing that true life comes through God’s Word, obedience, and the Holy Spirit. Through stories like Lazarus and David, they challenged the church to see purpose and destiny in the next generation instead of failure, declaring that God still sees “an exceedingly great army” rising up for His Kingdom.

Pastor Chad taught that the Holy Spirit isn’t a downgrade from Jesus but His ongoing, personal presence—our helper who reveals Christ, applies the gospel to our lives, and brings both past truth and future hope into the present, especially when believers gather together.

Pastor Chad teaches that the church is meant to live and operate in the power of the Holy Spirit, not just natural ability. He explains from Acts that while believers receive the Holy Spirit at salvation, there is also a deeper, ongoing experience—being “baptized” or filled with the Spirit—that empowers them for ministry and often includes speaking in tongues. Using the image of full immersion, he emphasizes that Christians need continual refilling to stay effective, and encourages people to seek, desire, and surrender to the Holy Spirit so they can live out a supernatural faith and mission.
