If you spent any time online in Ireland during the Facebook-video years, you definitely heard his voice coming out of a cartoon character at some point.  Dave Walsh or better known as "Walshunit" is an Irish social media creator and comedian, best known for viral comedy voiceovers and sketches, with a strong Limerick flavour. He originally gained attention on Facebook and YouTube in the mid-2010s, having millions of views across all platforms for dubbing children’s cartoons, especially Peppa Pig, with exaggerated Irish slang and adult humour.  More recently he launched The Unit Podcast, described as “unscripted, hardly thought out nonsense.” The show is currently active with regular episodes released in 2026.
