The Journey
This week on The Journey, we explored the importance of complete honesty in our spiritual lives and accountability relationships. Drawing from a recent podcast episode about a pastor's moral failure and journey of restoration, we examined how "truth omission" - being open but not fully honest - can lead us down dangerous paths. We concluded that accountability is worthless if we're not completely truthful, and reminded us that what we don't bring into the light can't be healed. We also reflected on how God works sovereignly in different contexts and cultures, even through our imperfections, while still holding us responsible for our choices.
