The Marie Embodied Podcast
In this episode, I’m joined by Lauren LaRose, clinical herbalist, founder of the Wild Rose Apothecary, and the visionary behind the Wild Rose Festival, an annual gathering that brings together 1,000 women in celebration of connection, healing, and community. Lauren shares her journey of becoming a mother during the isolation of COVID, and how that experience sparked a deep desire to rebuild the village so many women are missing. What began as a personal need for connection has grown into a powerful movement for women to come together to dance, learn, breathe, and support one another in meaningful ways. We dive into the realities of being a busy modern woman: balancing motherhood, business, and big visions, and the importance of allowing ourselves to be supported. Lauren speaks candidly about learning to receive help, and how that shift not only nourishes her, but ripples outward into her family, her work, and her wider community. This conversation is a reminder that we are not meant to do life alone. If you’ve been craving deeper connection, this episode will inspire you to seek out, or create, your own village.
