On today's episode, the Monks chat about getting the house ready for guests and creating an itinerary that will blow their socks off. Josh & Heather reminisce about what was awe inspiring to them when they first moved to California! They put on their college recruiter hats and get to work creating moments that their friends will never forget... in theory. We'll see when they get here. In part of the preparation, they take the dog for his sleep away interview and he comes home injured and can't walk. Heather gets her second bee sting in 3 weeks while carrying the dog to the bathroom. Everything is going completely sideways and the guests haven't even arrived. Itinerary: Day1 San Francisco little bites food tour: •Delores Park with breakfast burritos from Breakfast Little •Ferry building & porchetta sando Roli Roti Gourmet Rotisserie •Marina District, Palace of Fine Arts, Presidio •Nob Hill •Sang Tsung wings & Golden Gate Park •Ocean beach, Sutro baths, sunset at our old park, dinner at Pear 6101 for handkerchief pasta Day2 Bodega Bay, Point Reyes, Marin County: •Point Richmond (east bay) for a grandma slice of pizza from Raymond's Pizzeria •The Marshall Store in Bodega Bay for fish sando & Route 101 chocolate chip cookie •Point Reyes tree tunnel & light house •Marin county- Mill Valley library, Fairfax, Larkspur, dinner in either Sausalito or Tiburon to see the city lights Day3 drive the Pacific Coast Hwy south to Bixby bridge: •PCH south to Half moon bay, go up into the mountains along the ridge line where the ocean is on the left & the bay is on the right, down to Santa Cruz boardwalk, PCH again to Carmel By The Sea, 17 mile drive through Pebble Creek golf course, Bixby bridge / Big Sur Day4 hang at home by the pool & around the east bay: •easy morning, get lunch, hang by the pool, relax, dinner in Walnut Creek Prime Steakhouse & Martini Garden Watch today's episode of The Monks Official Podcast YouTube channel or listen wherever you get your podcasts.
