Sharing the gift that's being given to you WITH Sheri Yutzy

I dream of a future without any jobs. Nobody ever tellin' anybody else what to do. Instead, work and action that overflows from our hearts becoming free and connected to what we love. A 'course it ain't set up like that quite yet. Maybe that's part of the problem: it's a little too set up, engineered, conjuncted to a profit margin. But that's where we at ain't we. We's right about right here, we is. This is the world we live in. And we love this ole world, don't we, do we yet? Even while it's still so stuck in the dark. (We can relate to that, eh!) But it's the same thing sets us as sets the world free. Sets creativity free. Yeah baby. Now we're talkin'. This episode we're talkin' with Sheri Yutzy. And she's doin' this thing! She's writin' books. She's sharing the gift that's been given to her! I like that...sharing the gift that's being given to me (Oooh, present tense it up). Sharing the gift that's being given to you. How about that as a new definition of work? Sheri's first book, The Seller of Secrets, is freshly out in the world. You can find it here [https://authorsnote.com/item/RujXfOWOG7dauUqoVZ-6mw]. And good luck out there.

episode CHARLIE'S BOY BREAKS THE FRAME! with Justin C. Stauffer artwork

CHARLIE'S BOY BREAKS THE FRAME! with Justin C. Stauffer

His dad was an alcoholic. A lost sheep. The bad guy. That was the portrait of him painted by the conservative religious (Mennonite) culture that Charlie married into, and which was then framed and hung, as it were, on the wall over his son's childhood. Behold your dad. In his book, Charlie's Boy, Justin travels back through time to his 12th summer, and he meets his dad all over again. Like, who is this guy? Who am I? And he looks this time with a little different eyes. Eyes that aren't afraid to love his dad. Under that kind of look, boy how his dad grows! He becomes a living, breathing, human being no frame could ever hold. Charlie steps out from the pages of the book, steps forth from his frame, a free man. You can find Charlie's Boy here [https://a.co/d/0eN1SOVS]. Look for seller Stauffer and Sons. - Song, in part, inspired by Stay In Your Lane by Courtney Barnett.
