Descripción

Some of us prayed for peace… but still entertained chaos because it felt familiar. This episode might expose some uncomfortable truths about survival mode, healing, and why healthy can feel unfamiliar. Yeah…this one gets real.

Build-A-Dude Workshop

Girl… welcome to Build-A-Dude Workshop. Because at what point do we stop calling it “seeing potential” and admit we are in somebody’s emotional garage with a toolbox and prayer oil? In this episode, we’re talking about dating men that need assembling, fixing, reminding, motivating, babysitting, and a software update every two business days. Sis… are you dating a partner or secretly volunteering for a full-time renovation project? We’re unpacking emotional availability, accountability, consistency, communication, and why peace should not feel unfamiliar in a relationship. Because “potential” cannot keep paying the bills for your sanity. Funny, honest, and probably a little too real… but that’s what we do over here. Unfiltered but Still Covered. Honest conversations. Grace still applied. 💗

Power Outage. Soul Check.

Tonight’s episode of Unfiltered but Still Covered wasn’t planned. The power went out while I was supposed to be working, and suddenly… everything got quiet. No Wi-Fi. No TV. No background noise. Just silence. And if we’re honest? A lot of us stay surrounded by noise because silence makes us face ourselves. In this episode, we talk about how we fill every moment with distractions so we don’t have to sit with our thoughts, our emotions, or even God. Somewhere between frustration and stillness, I realized maybe the outage wasn’t just inconvenience… maybe it was interruption with purpose. This conversation is real, funny, reflective, and deeply personal. Like a late-night phone call with your homegirl when life suddenly slows down and you can finally hear yourself think. Because sometimes God will turn the volume of life down… just to get your attention.
