The platform is built upon values that reflect her own – Authenticity, Inclusion, Safety, Curiosity, and Trust. Help beacons give users a chance to connect and support other women. Proto exists to help leading businesses and startups understand what makes them meaningful and create new relevance in rapidly changing environments. Today’s guest is International Fashion and Lifestyle Photographer, Lydia Collins. Over the past five years, Lydia has built up a portfolio of respected clients – from jewellery brands and celebrities to start-up candle companies – who all turn to her to bring their vision to life, creating stunning imagery in warm honey tones against the most beautiful backdrops in the world. She also pays her experience forward, offering tips and tricks to help other people get the perfect shot. Lydia has been a solopreneur for the duration of her career. With this, comes a great responsibility to not only deliver for her clients but also to look after her mental and physical wellbeing. She punctuates her work with time outdoors, travelling to the coast in her campervan, Bettie, and taking almost weekly breaks from social media. It’s during this time that she is able to play, experiment and re-energise herself – finding inspiration in hidden city street corners, dancing shadows in long grass, and crashing waves on the shore. Today’s guest is Natasha Chetiyawardana, co-founder and creative partner of Bow & Arrow, a growth consultancy firm acquired by Accenture in November 2019. Natasha describes herself as a catalyst for making ideas happen. She is a C-suite challenger, a diversity advocate and a champion of creativity. People who’ve worked with her will tell you Natasha will flip everything you think you know upside down, and ask questions you’ve never even fathomed before. What does this mean in practice? It means companies like Google come to Natasha with questions like: where will we find our next billion users? If you’re not impressed yet, Natasha is also Chair of the Drum Design Awards. She’s been a university speaker and developed a syllabus for innovation and brand creation at the Pratt Institute. But most of all, Natasha is a force for positive change. Today’s guest is Euan Plater, a Personal Trainer, marketing consultant and founder of Glasgow-based boutique Fitness Studio, One Three Six. Euan’s studio offers a unique and intriguing group class experience with a combination of Boxing, HIIT & Yoga. That might sound like a surprising mix, but we get the sense this is a window into Euan’s approach to health and fitness: a carefully balanced flow of hard hitting, muscle forming workouts with deeply restorative and mentally charging yoga. See, Euan is also the host of the XY podcast, a show about mental health in men, interviewing a series of chart topping musicians, actors, models, directors and influencers, in which Euan gets to the root of why men have such a hard time discussing their mental health.
