Happy New Year! As we step forward into 2026, I’ve been reflecting on what God revealed to me this past year. What I assumed would be a year of clarity ended up being a year of trust, and honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. If you’re the type  who waits for every detail before you obey, this is your reminder: you don’t need the full plan. Just trust the One who holds it.

Just because your story doesn’t look like everyone else’s doesn’t mean it’s less important. God’s purpose for you is still unfolding, and you are just as special in His eyes as anyone else. Even when you don’t see it yet, He does. And he’s shaping something beautiful in you.

Real over Right

In this episode of Conversations in the Dark, we get real about something many of us wrestle with — the pressure to be right instead of being real with God. Somewhere along the way, we start believing that faith is about doing all the right things — reading our Bibles, going to church, tithing — and forget that it’s really about relationship. I talk about how easy it is to get caught up in performance and perfection, and how God never asked us to be perfect — He asked us to be present. Because He values our honesty more than our image, our heart more than our habits. This episode is a reminder that He’d rather have the real you, even when you’re wrong, than a version of you that’s pretending to be right.
