Hannah: From Struggle to Promise

Acts 8:1-8

God did not save us from the power's of sin, just for His Church to be quiet. When the believer take's God's word serious and walks it out in with a holy lifestyle, persecution typically follows. When we read this week regarding the early church's persecution, we're faced with what that actually looks like and what it does not look like. It does not mean we're being irritated by a coworker or family member, true persecution costs. Our faith must remove us from our couches, into the world for the great commission and the saving of souls. This week we touch on how sometimes we can be disappointed when we don't get the answers the way we thought, but that does not mean, our prayers were not answered. We're reminded of the sovereignty of God and His ways. Finally, we're taught the authority we have over the demonic! That Jesus gave us the power to shake loose the chains of torment by demons through Him! There is an exciting life God is calling us to, and He begs the question: "Can I take you to the unknown?"

Hannah: From Struggle to Promise

In this week's message, we celebrate the mother's around the world! When God gives you a promise as a mother, are we quick to stand firm on it, or are we ruled by our emotions trying to control the outcome with our own effort? Hannah was given a promise and in the end, through continual prayer and fasting, she received the promise God gave. But what did she do when she had the son God promised her through Eli? She gave him back to the Lord. Our kids are one's we're to steward in the ways of God, they're not ours to control. Because at the end of the day, they were God's first before He entrusted them to your womb.

Acts 7:51-60

In this week's message, we're reminded of the severity of God's desire to occupy every area of our hearts. We learn what it truly means when we "resist God" just like the Pharisees had done with Stephan's message. We, as people, have the option to be overtaken with emotion or with The Holy Spirit. We're told that what overtakes your heart will dictate our response, good or bad. That True submission leads to humility to produce obedience rather than defiance.

Acts 7:44-50

In this week's message, we're told about the desire within Moses and Davi both wanting a permanent dwelling for the Most High. How God chooses the least-likely to transform through an encounter with Himself. We're also challenged: When will we stop playing church and desire an encounter for ourselves?

Acts 7:37-43

In this week's message, we hear the heart-cry of God. Are we still longing for our old lives where we were once slaves to sin? We're reminded that whatever you trust, fear, obey, or crave more than God is your god. And we're faced with crossroads today; will we go all-in for Jesus, or reject Him entirely?
