Beskrivelse

HEALING TOGETHER THROUGH TRAUMA In this episode of The Expanse of Love Dialogues, Christopher Miller interviewed sisters Christi Byerly (Awaken Coach Institute) and Kathryn Masso (Life Coach) about their lifelong sibling relationship. The sisters shared their early memories of a close bond formed in childhood, particularly during challenging family circumstances, and discussed how their relationship evolved through teenage hood and adulthood. They described how their connection transformed from a childhood trauma bond to a deeper, more authentic adult friendship, marked by mutual support and understanding. The sisters, who are both trained coaches, explored how their professional expertise influenced their personal relationship dynamics, particularly around setting boundaries and maintaining autonomy. They discussed the unique aspects of their sibling bond, including shared friendships and the ability to provide non-judgmental support to each other, especially during difficult life events. The conversation concluded with reflections on love's infinite nature and how they both consistently cultivate and receive love in their lives.

Instant Connection

How would you describe ‘love at first sight’ in a platonic friendship? Carley Nicholson and Daria Williamson have been fast friends for over a decade, and their connection was powerful from the very beginning. They have navigated life as very close friends, celebrated wins and commiserated over difficult challenges. It is only recently that they have overtly expressed their love for each other, in friendship, and during this episode we explore how love shows up when it is said and unsaid, and why love is just as important in a friendship as in a romantic relationship. Carley can be contacted at https://carleynicholson.co.nz [https://carleynicholson.co.nz/] and Daria can be contacted at https://dariawilliamson.com [https://dariawilliamson.com/] Christopher Miller (Christopher-Miller.com) is the host of the ExpansiveLove Dialogues and additional episodes can be found at www.Expansive.Love [http://www.expansive.love/].

Love and Life by Design

FINDING LOVE A 2ND TIME AROUND In the third episode of this season (12 Experiments in Love) of the ExpansiveLove Dialogues, Gillian Brookes and Digby Scott offer their perspective of finding love a 2nd time around, leading a blended family, and making time for each other while thriving in busy professional lives. They have been invested in a Life by Design process for several years and have recently gone public which has garnered a significant amount of social media and press attention. They are actively supporting other couples in a similar process, and we discuss the benefits and challenges of planning life together in a way that honours everyone involved. One of the concepts that resonates deeply is ‘My dreams, your dreams, our dreams’ and the acknowledgement that each individual has agency AND our shared dreams are important to shape a thriving relationship.
