This year, the North Georgia GMC has partnered with Camp Evergreen to bring a Christ-centered camp experience for the children and teens of North Georgia. Banded in Discipleship - Global Methodist Voices - Brandon Brown

At the beginning of 2025, Brandon Brown heard his Pastor, Fletcher Law of Homer Methodist Church preach about Bands. Bands are Wesleyan groups of gathered believers that meet to grow in their holiness, accountability, and love for one another in a very small group. Well, Brandon took this seriously and immediately prayed and started a Band. Now, just a few months later, there is already growth in the Bands. They are beginning multiple bands of discipleship and helping each other become the followers of Jesus that they are called to be, together. Take a listen to hear about doing it when you aren't quite sure you know how to do it, that starting is probably one of the hardest parts, and that God is working in the lives of the people involved with the bands in Homer.
