episode #11 Why men pay 3000 Pound for a night cover

Description

What drives a man to pay €3,000 for a single night – and does it really have anything to do with sex? In this solo episode, I present my theory of the nine need archetypes – nine patterns of human desire that I have recognised time and again throughout my career. The title is a deliberate homage to Vanessa Eden’s book *Why Men Pay €2,000 for a Night* - with a small price increase to reflect the times. In this first part, you’ll get to know five of the nine archetypes – with case studies, psychological depth and the odd blunt self-revelation. The remaining four will be covered in part two. You know how it is with anticipation.

#10 Why escort ruined dating for us - with Irina Le Fey

Two women who've seen behind the curtain sit down to talk about the thing nobody in this industry warns you about: what happens to your private dating life when work keeps raising the bar. Irina le Fey is back - former goldsmith, sociologist, agency founder, professional huntress a and this time, we're not talking about clients. We're talking about us. About gender roles reclaimed and confused, the provider question, what women actually bring to the table when kids aren't part of the equation, and whether one person could ever give you what this job does. We disagree. A lot. Irina believes in the fairytale and is willing to stop escorting for it. Elisa believes in the fairytale and is absolutely not willing to stop escorting for it. Somewhere between those two positions, something very honest happens - about desire, self-worth, and the strange paradox of an industry that makes you feel incredibly chosen while making normal dating feel like a punishment. One question neither of us had been asked quite this directly before: Are you actually happy? The answers might surprise you. Keep your hands clean. But your mind dirty.

#8 Why I am (not) allowed to fall in love

Love is the biggest taboo in sex work. Not sex. Not money. But feelings. In this solo episode, I talk about what happens when the line between professional intimacy and real feelings becomes blurred. When does curated availability suddenly become... something that feels real? I talk about dates where I no longer knew whether I was being paid or whether it was just nice. About post-date blues that feel like heartbreak. And about an American in senior military service who taught me a lesson about non-monogamy and charisma. What makes a client dangerous? Not their appearance. But the way they listen. How they leave space. How they see your needs without you having to express them. And then the big question: can I even love as an escort? Am I allowed to? And if so, at what price? In the end, it's all about the Holy Grail: being emotionally available without becoming vulnerable. And why mastering this art leads to a rebirth of one's own self. Trigger warning: emotional depth, personal vulnerability, and quite a few uncomfortable truths about love, control and self-sufficiency.
