Welcome to the first episode of KHNI Talks Podcast where we focus on Ashwagandha - a well-known adaptogen that has gained increasing scientific and consumer interest.  We explore the scientific evidence behind its health claims, discuss the regulatory landscape, and address the myths and misinformation. To guide through this topic, both Dr. Thomas Brendler and Dr. Mukesh Summan join Brian Short, our KHNI Talks Podcast Moderator, for a Q&A session.  Thomas is the founder of the consultancy Plantaphile, who works closely with institutions such as the University of Illinois, Southern Cross University, and the University of Johannesburg, and serves as Chair of the Botanical Dietary Supplements & Herbal Medicines Expert Committee at the U.S. Pharmacopeia.  Dr. Mukesh Summan is the Global Director of Toxicology at Kerry.  Both Thomas and Mukesh bring a wealth of expertise to this podcast.
