Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2391808/fan_mail/new] Community is very important to our well-being as business owners. I don’t think any human enterprise can be done alone. I depend on my communities, both in-person and virtual for all kinds of reasons: advice, expertise, and just hanging out with people I enjoy and who “get” me. And yet, there are times when a community which once served us no longer fits. This can feel so painful! It’s why I invited Jennifer Corbeau to share her wisdom on how she moved on from a community when she realized it was holding her back. And she left with grace and a sense of completion. Jennifer Corbeau is a guide, teacher, and catalyst who leads women on transformative travel retreats. Learn more about Jennifer’s work on her website. How to Find More of "Your People" with More Ease and Speed

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2391808/fan_mail/new] Something I often hear from the people I work with is "how do I find my people?" What they're really asking is "how do I find the people who will genuinely appreciate my unique approach and will happily pay me for my services?" Referrals remain the best way to connect with great-fit clients. However, referrals can take a long time to materialize. Especially if we aren't intentionally developing a referral pipeline. Two strategies I recommend are: 1. Actively work on creating your referral system. 2. Use your favorite clients' words and language in your marketing! Let your best clients speak directly to potential best clients! If you want to attract more great-fit clients with more speed and ease, I urge you to put these strategies into action! The sooner you begin taking steps to cultivate these connections, the sooner people will be showing up who can't wait to pay you! Creating a Business that Works for YOU

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2391808/fan_mail/new] Most of the business owners I work with did not start businesses to work 60-hour weeks. They started their businesses to do something they’re fantastic at, make a positive difference, and have space for caring for others, flexibility, and a life they enjoy. Still, it can be tough to set those boundaries. When we’re connected 24/7 it can feel difficult to stay offline; especially because that’s where our clients are. Ari Pirutinski deliberately began his business, Steady Growth Partners in order to do what he loves and to set hard boundaries so he has time for the other-than-work activities he cherishes. And it has not hurt his success. In fact, he believes setting clear work-life boundaries has contributed to the success of his business. The Surprising Quality That Gives Your Marketing an Edge

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2391808/fan_mail/new] I rarely smile or laugh when I read most business marketing but when I do, I remember the company. And that’s the point: when done well, marketing that uses wit and humor and playfulness can capture your prospects attention and is more memorable (sticky) than the staid, boring stuff the other guys are doing. The quality of delight, when done well, gives your marketing an edge.
