Can't Please Everybody

Fear of failure, more specifically the fear of rejection can be crippling. Getting rejected can be crippling. It can set you back so you get out routine and spiral in depression. My experience has taught me ways to approach this fear and minimize it. I hope the following helps you change for the better if you choose to do so!  A few weeks ago I put out a questionnaire on instagram asking for topic ideas. I received five great responses and addressed two questions here. Both questions are copied the questions below. How do I know what should I pursue and dedicate my time to? I feel like as an adult, we only have a finite amount of energy and attention, how can I be sure I’m using my energy to the best of my ability. I have a lot of hobbies, which I would love to make careers, but giving an honest attempt at making a living at one is a big commitment. How can I best go about approaching this?" - Danny Young

Introduction to Dreams

This discussion is followed by the Introduction to Dreams lecture. I explain what dreams are and the theories for why we dream. I also share my own "connect the dots" practice for interpretation. Story of the Brain

To help prepare my students for their upcoming test on brain anatomy I told a story about how the brain works! Please excuse the sound of fans and ice cream trucks in the background, it's hot as hell in Southern California right now.
