Let’s talk rebirth! This week we dive into past lives, including what it means to be closer to spirit or “the veil" as a child (who remembers their past life) and my hypothesis for why our human condition filters out past lives as we get older. I share my own past life memory and what I’ve learned about how I carry intergenerational and, potentially, inter-life trauma. Lastly, I’ll discuss the pitfalls of focusing on past lives to the detriment of being present with our current selves. Community is Medicine and Relationships are Messy

Everyone is talking about community building but few acknowledge the challenges of actually doing it! Community means nurturing relationships with people - real people - who have diverse beliefs, values, personalities, abilities, and needs. Relationships can be hard and messy. In this episode, we talk about what it looks like to build community in a colonized world. ** Follow along on insta @redcedarway [https://www.instagram.com/redcedarway/] Support on tipjar [https://tips.pinecast.com/jar/red-cedar-way] ** This podcast is written, produced, and edited by Red Cedar Way. The Spirit of Winter

As the darker, colder days draw near, let’s explore the spirit of winter. The Winter Maker is the spirit that brings winter and is represented in the night sky beginning in December. During this time, we tells stories, gather together, and share warmth and resources. Today, we'll talk about what the spirit of winter reveals to us, as well as the spiritual significance of winter to me personally.  References: Star Stories, part 9: Ojibwe Indigenous Star Map - An Artist's Rendition [https://www.zhaawanart.com/post/star-stories-part-9-ojibwe-star-map] Talking Sky: Ojibwe Constellations as a Reflection of Life on the Land by Carl Gawboy & Ron Morton [https://birchbarkbooks.com/products/talking-sky?_pos=1&_sid=c03710505&_ss=r] ** Follow along on insta @redcedarway [https://www.instagram.com/redcedarway/] Support on tipjar [https://tips.pinecast.com/jar/red-cedar-way] ** This podcast is written, produced, and edited by Red Cedar Way.
