In it, we are shown the power of intercession and the need for someone to stand in the breach for us; none other than the Lord Jesus Christ himself. The Lord Uses Moses (Exodus 14:13-22 & Psalm 77)

The Passover and subsequent flight from Egypt is the great redemption story of the Old Testament and becomes the paradigm for all of salvation. Moses is used by the Lord to lead his people out despite their fear. The Lord sets Moses before the people and, following him, they are led to safety and salvation.
