Discussing her life, dramatic moments, and the history of the discovery, or rather recovery, of the text itself. Marta teaches at the University of Leeds' School of History and is a Senior Congress Officer for the associated International Medieval Congress. Her research interests include late Middle English Literature, especially Langland and Chaucer; medieval female mysticism, including Margery Kempe and Julian of Norwich, and the portrayal of witchcraft.
