Embracing the Mystery of the Holy Trinity

On Trinity Sunday, Reverend Bob Dolen preached about the Holy Trinity. God is one, God is a unity and God is 3 persons, all equal and inseparable. How exactly does this work? We may want to perform a systematic analysis to try and make sense of the Holy Trinity. But we can embrace the mystery for direction. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are an inseparable unity. If we have the indwelling of the Holy Trinity, Christians have the authority, power and privilege to teach and pray and the responsibility to do all things in our lives in the name of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Pentecost is the church's birthday...so we party! What do we need for a party? An invitation: God invites all race and nation and that means EVERYBODY! Presents: He asks for our presence. Give of yourself to bring peace to this earth. The Feast of Pentecost invites us to embrace our beliefs with great conviction and welcome the spiritual phenomenon of the Holy Spirit in our hearts. Saint Paul's Pod: Graduating Senior Kennedy Horton

We celebrated Senior Sunday with our graduating seniors. One of our amazing high school seniors, Kennedy, preached the sermon. She shared her experiences and finding comfort in Jesus. Congratulations to all graduates.  Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Jesus: The Ultimate Comforter

Death is scary for us all. Jesus spoke as the comforter and encourager. "I am the way, the truth and the life." Jesus says to follow him and not fear. Perfect love casts out fear. and Jesus loves us perfectly. Jesus continues to encourage through compassion and love.
