Tales from Ovid
A boy named Phaethon has always believed his father is the sun god. But when his friends mock him, demanding proof, a seed of doubt takes root. He journeys to the edge of the world to find the truth — and finds it, in a palace too vast for any mortal, attended by a father who has watched him from afar every day of his life. Helios is overjoyed. He offers his son anything he wants. But the only thing Phaethon wants is the one thing that will destroy him: to drive his father's chariot across the sky. This is a story about what we'll risk to prove ourselves, about promises we can't take back, and about a father who learns too late that presence — not grand gestures — is the only gift that matters.
