In this Episode we explore beyond the Pop word of Mindfulness, but what it means to be living in a time with so much anxiety and uncertainty.  Learn to stop, take a deep breath and understand it really is ok to enjoy some of the slower pace we have right now.  It's also so important to keep your mind and body active to stay healthy.  Set yourself time to get up and out, sure in Melbourne right now we only get one hour a day, but maybe break it into 3 x 20 minute sessions to keep active.  It is also more than okay to allow yourself to feel the emotions, close your eyes and really acknowledge how you are feeling and reach out to someone for support.  We are not in this alone, we can ask for help! Melissa has been working with couples about to tie the knot for the past 30 years... firstly in the jewellery industry helping select the right rings and for the past 10 years as a Celebrant.  Grab your favourite bevvy, sit back and enjoy this episode with us as find out what really goes on, and why couples choose a Civil Celebrant over the more traditional ceremonies.  The laughing alone throughout this interview is sure to be an indicator of the differences one can expect! This episode was recorded the day before the Victorian Government announced that weddings are now banned until 13th September 2020. I think you will agree with us that as Melissa says, the restrictions of all wearing a mask during the ceremony, with a maximum of 5 including the celebrant was becoming somewhat challenging to accept for that very special day!  Now many couples out there are dealing with all those hopes and dreams of becoming married, on hold for a little while longer and we hope that they will get to once again have a few more family members and guests very soon to share their love!
