During the Y98 halftime show, Jen Siess visited with Brad Davis, St. Louis native, three-time Hall of Famer, and former MLS pro and US Men’s National Team player. Brad talked about his experience playing in the 2014 World Cup for the USMNT, representing his country on such a grand scale after 4 years building towards the planet’s largest sporting event. He also talked about the promise of the USMNT under the leadership of Head Coach, Mauricio Pochettino, who says “why not us?” and the massive impact that The Beautiful Game can have on hosting cities and countries.

During the Y98 halftime show, Jen Siess visited with Emir Nalic, owner of Balkan Treat Box and Telva at the Ridge. Emir talked about his experience as a Bosnian immigrant living in St. Louis and building his successful restaurant business enjoyed around town and in Energizer Park. He shared his pride in sister-in-law, Loryn, who is a finalist for the "James Beard: Best Chef Midwest" again this year. Finally, Emir gave some insight on the excitement of the STL Bosnian community for CITY's “Summer of Soccer Presented by Purina” which will welcome Bosnia and Herzegovina’s National Team for training with an international friendly against World Cup-qualified Panama on Saturday, June 6th.
