Beskrivelse

The trio gets a laugh out of Jameis Winston's most recent comments about his skills on the field and if he should be a favorite player for people. They like what the Rams move to sign Bobby Wagner signals for their over mindset while questioning why the Packers targeted OBJ. There was also the DeVante Parker trade and they look into how this can give insight to how Belichick views his team and what the Patriots might want to add to help Mac Jones develop.

An Ode to the Pirate: RIP Mike Leach

It's with heavy hearts that Luke and Ryan recorded this episode after learning the news of Mike Leach's passing. For anyone who followed college football, Leach was a mainstay for the past 25 years, coincidentally a time that perfectly aligned with our coming of age in football and life. If Mike Leach was just an offensive innovator who helped usher in 4 wide receivers and pass-happy offenses that would be enough to leave a legacy on the game. However, he was so much more than that. A guy who never played college football. Possessor of a law degree. A man who moonlighted as a weatherman and adjunct professor in his spare time while coaching major college football. Leach was as eclectic as they come in college football, a true oddball in a sport that could produce its fair share of them. He could and would talk your ear off about anything and there was no question he didn't deem worthy of some kind of response. The game will be lesser because he is no longer around, but his memory and offensive innovation will live on. Listen and then go immerse yourself in some random subject you have always been interested in. That's the best way to honor Coach Leach.
