Like newborn infants craving milk, Christians are to hunger for the pure nourishment of God's Word so that they may grow into maturity and salvation. Peter's exhortation is grounded in experience: those who have tasted the goodness of the Lord should continually seek Him as the source of life, strength, and growth.

Hebrews 5:12–14 "No Longer Infants!" (Wednesday 6/10/26)

Hebrews 5:12–14 challenges believers to move beyond spiritual infancy and grow into maturity through constant practice in God's Word. The writer rebukes his audience for remaining dependent on "milk" when they should be ready for the "solid food" of deeper spiritual understanding. Mature Christians are those who have trained themselves through obedience and discernment to distinguish good from evil and to live faithfully before God.

Ephesians 4:11-16 "Maturing in Christ" (Tuesday 6/9/26)

In Ephesians 4:11–16, Paul teaches that Christ has given leaders to the church to equip every believer for ministry and spiritual growth. As each member uses their God-given gifts, the body of Christ is strengthened, united, and built up in love. God's goal is that His people grow from spiritual immaturity into the fullness of Christ, standing firm in truth while speaking that truth in love.

Psalm 75 "God's Judgment Will Come" (Monday 6/8/26)

Psalm 75 reminds us that even when the world seems unstable and the wicked appear to prosper, God remains firmly in control. He alone determines the proper time for judgment, humbling the proud and lifting up the righteous according to His perfect justice. Because God's name is near and His rule is certain, His people can live with confidence, humility, and thanksgiving.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 "Renewing the Inner Man" (Friday 6/5/26)

In 2 Corinthians 4:16–18, Paul encourages believers not to lose heart because, although our physical bodies are wasting away, God is continually renewing our inner selves day by day. Present sufferings and trials are temporary and light when compared to the eternal glory that awaits those who belong to Christ. Therefore, Christians are called to fix their eyes not on the visible and passing things of this world, but on the unseen and everlasting realities of God's kingdom.
