#105 - Like Machines

The one and only Like Machines joins the show today! This episode is really just bros hanging out. Seriously, if you have ever wondered what it's like to just chill with a touring band, have a lot of laughs, hear inside stories and tell a bunch of jokes, then this is the episode for you! I've known Andrew and Tanner since they were The Stir gigging around Atlanta, Georgia. They were actually the second guest I ever had on this podcast. Haha go check it out...it's hilarious, much like this one. It's hard to list all the topic we discuss. Loved getting to hear their thoughts on being a touring band vs. the days of just gigging in bars around Atlanta. I mean, wow, they have toured with the likes of Collective Soul, Fozzy, Crobot, Pop Evil, Nita Strauss and Avatar. Hear their single "Come and Get It" leading into the interview, listen to Andrew talking about his flying nightmares, us talking about "our little Seattle" back in the day and apparently how angry Tanner is at Freddie Freeman. The CEO joins the show to talk about their upcoming show at 37 Main Avondale Estates in Atlanta, Georgia on April 23rd. They are joined by Seven Year Witch and Silly Goose. The CEO features Vinnie Hornsby of Sevendust and it was such a pleasure to talk to a musician of his caliber on the podcast. The entire band is made of incredibly talented musicians and honestly, the sky's the limit for this group. #101 - The Thrill

I'm calling these guys an Atlanta rock supergroup. The Thrill consists of three veteran musicians that came together to form this band that I can't stop listening to. They just released their debut single "Miss Miserable," which you will hear following the intro to this episode. They have 3 other singles ready to go and I'm psyched as hell for what's to come from these guys. The Atlanta rock scene is definitely seeing a resurgence following the past couple years and I think it's going to get a lot stronger. From making music videos, drinking passionfruit flavored seltzers, talking favorite bands and influences, and all points in between, this is episode 101. Enjoy!
