Deborah Blake has published seven books on modern witchcraft with Llewellyn Worldwide and has an ongoing column in Witches & Pagans Magazine. She lives in a 120-year-old farmhouse in rural upstate New York with five cats who supervise all her activities, both magical and mundane. I had so much fun chatting with Deborah! Erika Buenaflor, Curandera

We sit down the amazing Erika Buenaflor to chat about her new book, Veneration Rites of Curanderismo. Erika Buenaflor, M.D., J.D., has a masters degree in religious studies with a focus on Mesoamerican shamanism from the University of California at Riverside. She is a practicing curandera for over 20 years, a descended from a line of grandmother curanderas, she has studied with curananderx in Mexico, Peru, Los Angeles, and gives presentations on curanderismo in many settings. She is the author of several books including: The Cleansing Rites of Curanderismo, Soul Retrieval, among many others.
