Deborah Blake has published seven books on modern witchcraft with Llewellyn Worldwide and has an ongoing column in Witches & Pagans Magazine. She lives in a 120-year-old farmhouse in rural upstate New York with five cats who supervise all her activities, both magical and mundane. I had so much fun chatting with Deborah! We sit down the amazing Erika Buenaflor to chat about her new book, Veneration Rites of Curanderismo. Erika Buenaflor, M.D., J.D., has a masters degree in religious studies with a focus on Mesoamerican shamanism from the University of California at Riverside. She is a practicing curandera for over 20 years, a descended from a line of grandmother curanderas, she has studied with curananderx in Mexico, Peru, Los Angeles, and gives presentations on curanderismo in many settings. She is the author of several books including: The Cleansing Rites of Curanderismo, Soul Retrieval, among many others.
