Who is actually attending San Diego Comic Con this year?!

There are so many things to unravel in this episodes, starting with San Diego Comic Con! There are a LOT of production companies, all majors that have decided not to attend this years SDCC due to the writers and actors strikes going on. Who is actually going to be attending, besides DC? Does it really matter? Are these types of conventions even really necessary anymore? Cancellation of CW comic book shows is a huge reason why no one is really watching the CW anymore, and Gotham Knights is the newest to be cancelled, and Superman & Lois is all but cancelled with most of their regular cast cut.  Delays in movie releases... how will this affect the bottom dollar for the production companies? Will they end up going to streaming sooner than expected, like on day one?  Xbox has finally conceded the console wars to Playstation after years of trying to stay up to date. Has having very few console exclusives finally caught up to Microsoft? We certainly think so

Submarines, Seacrest, and movies, oh my!

Mike and Warren start right out of the gate with the Oceangate Titan Submarine implosion and our feelings on the cost of it, and if we would in actuality ever do something like that! Rolling right out of that catastrophe another, we are diving into the terrible movie "The Flash" and how just bad it was, followed up with some new favorites in "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts" and "Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse"  So many things going on in the MCU and extended MCU with the release of the new trailer for "Kraven the Hunter" and wow does it feel like "Morbius" all over again, but we hope we are wrong. And add in there the legal issues going on with two of the big bads of the MCU with Tenoch Huerta and Jonathan Majors and the accusations floating around, what will Marvel do with these characters, and these actors? So many new castings in movies, or castings that were supposed to occur and have since dropped. We discuss the potential Harvey Dent for the upcoming "The Batman 2" film, Margot Robbie and Adam Driver seemingly out of the running for "Fantastic Four", and of course it wouldn't be an episode right now without some Mortal Kombat talk! Video games galore with the newest Nintendo Direct and some new Mario games and some old favorites being remade! Games Galore!

With Playstation showing off their upcoming games and god awful new handheld, Mike and Warren breakdown the likes and dislikes of the show and what they do and don't want to see.  Wouldn't be an episode of Wingman Up without an update on something Mortal Kombat and we have PLENTY! The new game announcement of MK1, a reboot to the series after the events of MK11. And we have casting announcements for the new Mortal Kombat film, and go deep into who we think should've been cast for the pivotal role of Johnny Cage! After a decade, the Arrowverse has come to an end with the ending of the Flash, it will be greatly missed With so many movies coming out this Summer, Mike had a special game for Warren that you wil not want to miss!

Draft Night!

Mike and Warren are back at it with 2 different drafts that were going on! Between the NFL Draft and the WWE Draft there is a lot to talk about.  Lots of Mortal Mombat news coming forward and some thoughts on who might and might not join the second film in the new series.  Add in some bad news for the Marvel's big bad Jonathan Majors (which has gotten worse since) and the success of the Super Mario Bros movie (now over a Billion and on VOD) and you have a filled episode!

Warren and Mike go over what happened at Wrestlemania and if Warren's picks were correct. It was days after Wrestlemania that the announcement of Endeavour's $9+ Billion purchase of WWE was announce and it would be a publicly traded company.  We have announcements of the Harry Potter series being recreated as a TV show for what will be MAX instead of HBO Max. There are new trailers for movies that we are excited for like Blue Beetle, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Throw in there some new games to look forward to, live action announcements of some Disney classics, and we go a little deep on NFL player safety. Lots to unpack and listen to.
