High School Softball: Ithaca-Weston vs Hillsboro

The season came to an end for the Ithaca-Weston softball team with a 7-0 loss to Belmont at River Ridge High School in the WIAA Sectional Final. The Braves are the defending division 5 state champions and they knocked off Ithaca last season in the state semi-final.

High School Softball: Adams-Friendship vs Richland Center

The season came to an end for the Richland Center softball team with a 1-0 (8 inning) loss at Adams-Friendship on Tuesday, June 2. The game went similar to the Hornets previous 12 inning win at G.E.T. in which they won 1-0. Both teams had chances to take leads but those opportunities were taken away by good pitching and defense.

High School Softball: Hillsboro at Ithaca/Weston

The Ithaca/Weston softball team won a WIAA regional championship with an 8-6 win over Hillsboro on Thursday, May 28. The Bulldogs led 7-0 before the Tigers scored 3 runs in the 6th and 7th innings.

High School WIAA Softball: Prairie du Chien at Richland Center

The Richland Center softball team picked up a hard fought 4-2 win over Prairie du Chien on Tuesday, May 26 in a WIAA Regional Semi-Final game. The Hornets improved to 18-3 on the season with the win and will play on Thursday in the Regional championship.

High School Softball: Pardeeville at River Valley

River Valley passed the first test of the WIAA softball tournament with a 14-4 win over visiting Pardeeville on Thursday, May 21.
