A low pressure system near New Zealand and a high pressure system over Tasmania are combining to create hazardous surf conditions along Queensland's coast. Offshore waves exceeding three metres have been recorded at Tweed Heads, with winds reaching 30 knots and rain expected throughout the week. The weather systems are forecast to weaken by Wednesday.
