PART 1: In this episode I am interviewing my dear friend Kara Brooks. Kara was raised in church but was pulled into the practice of shamanism. This is the New Age practice of directing or shifting energies or spirits. After a long journey away from the Lord, He was faithful to bring Kara back into a committed, love relationship with Him. Now she is leading and encouraging others in Jesus name. The two of us are going to be discussing how new ageism has snuck into the church one little piece at a time. Sometimes we need help bringing order and good basic discipline to our lives, but if we begin to take advice from the secular perspective, we can move into self-sufficiency that is nothing short of prideful sin.
