If you think it’s a small world, this story will only confirm it! Danny Blanton is a rideshare driver who has picked up hundreds of passengers in Dallas, all strangers. But then one day a passenger asked “What’s your name again? Blanton replied, “My name is Danny.” The passenger then said, “I know you.” Danny glanced in the rearview mirror and mumbled, “You don’t know me.” But then turned around and suddenly recognized his former coworker, John Johnson a man Danny hadn’t seen in 24-years! The reunion was so special to Danny that he posted a video of the encounter, his first social media video ever. It went viral, racking up 10 million views so far, and counting. Danny said that he’s happy that the video has had such a great response and that he and John plan on posting more videos soon.

Many people continue to pray for First Baptist Dallas after the church lost its Historic Sanctuary in a fire Friday, July 19th. The church plans on rebuilding. Let’s share those prayers for Pleasant Vally Baptist Church that also caught fire last Friday, July 26th. Paul David Taylor has served as pastor there for 48-years and was inside the church when he noticed something wasn’t right. He could smell smoke. The pastor called 911 and then called his wife and asked her to pray. The fire destroyed the churches offices and library, but the sanctuary and hundreds of old books and the pastor’s Bible were all saved. When asked what’s next, the pastor said, "Where do we go from here? We rest in him, trust him and pray to him. Meet and worship and lift him high because of what he did and is going to do," Taylor said. "God is going to give us a building to be in."
