Tangible Things I Did to Get Help for Myself

In 2019 I decided I needed help. God led me to a 12-step meeting where He placed a woman who became my sponsor — someone who had walked through circumstances similar to mine. She gave me a daily assignment: practice gratitude and pray one simple prayer asking for God’s will for my life and the power to carry it out. What I didn’t know then was that I had been making other people my God. When I started that daily practice, things began to break apart so they could be rebuilt. This episode is short. On purpose.
