He specializes in the financial, organizational, and strategic aspects of family enterprise, focusing on continuity planning, governance design, enterprise risk, and shareholder development. DeCiantis is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Harvard and the Kellogg School of Management. He holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard and a Bachelor of Business Administration from York University. Ivan Lansberg is the Co-Founder and Senior Partner at Lansberg Gersick Advisors (LGA). He was also one of the founders of the Family Firm Institute (FFI) and the first editor of the Family Business Review, the professional journal of the family business field. Before going into consulting, he was a Professor of Organizational Behavior at Yale. Currently, Lansberg is an Adjunct Professor and Co-Director of Family Enterprise Programs at the Kellogg School. He received his BA, MA, and PhD from Columbia.
