Fix your face, haha! I know, I know. More vegan content to hit you up upside the head in today's media. But did you know that approaching a vegan lifestyle can be a challenge for many black folks--and for good reason? These challenges can be amplified even more when taking a trip or moving abroad. Jenny joins Cherie to discuss all things healthy eating (sans the animal products) and detoxing while you're on vacation. Zachary steps in to discuss rocking alternatives to common animal skins so that you can flex, hike, ski and even rent a car without supporting animal cruelty. And permanent nomad Vangile steps in to give us her top 3 cities for the best vegan dishes in the entire world. Plus, we give vegan-friendly company Black Girl Sunscreen, a proper shout! Whether you love or hate veganism and detoxing, this episode is definitely an eye-opener for the traveler in you.

What happens when you encounter a new international space where artistic expressions of your culture and viewpoints are misunderstood by others? RonAmber Deloney walks us through how she navigated creating a space for spoken word and black art exchange in Germany, all while struggling with racism and trying to make ends meet. Plus Hu John--one of the organizers of the upcoming Shanghai Black Fashion Week--delves into how the black expat community in China is uniting to become an influential force. We also give a shout out to Swimma, an amazing South-African-based swim cap and shower cap company catering to folks with afros and dreadlocs.

Cherie B chats it up with globetrotter Geneviève for a funny and candid conversation about travel bans, what we can do to stop North Korea, Ghana entering space, unofficial lifeguards in Jamaica, and what happens when using intuition during random travel excursions actually trips you up.

Frequent flyer Daisha spills the tea (aka "drops some confessions") about what day-to-day life is really like in the friendly skies for both travelers and aircraft personnel. Plus Hong Kong-based artist Nelsón Cabán drops knowledge on how to adapt to life abroad. Cherie, Daisha and Nelson all attended Temple University and studied abroad at Temple University Japan, although this is their first time all talking as a trio.

Cherie B sits down with law student and avid traveler Janae Camilla to discuss her expat experience in Dubai, travel companies cutting ties with the NRA and the simplest way to cut down travel costs over time. Plus we chat with Tonya Chen, creator of US-based Korean cultural concierge service, "Teach, Live & Thrive in South Korea". Special thanks to producer Kenny99 for our intro and outro music (@_kenny99_).
